The BEST Maternity Outfits for Teachers

I was so nervous and anxious about what I was going to wear once I started showing a belly. I am a teacher so I wanted to look professional but I also wanted to be comfortable. This post has a variety of items that could be put together to create some super cute and flattering outfits throughout your pregnancy 🙂

Tops

These maternity t-shirts are the perfect addition to any pregnant woman’s closet. They are so versatile in that you can dress them up or down. It comes in a pack of 3 and there are a variety of colors to choose from. I ordered two sets so that I would have 6 shirts. They also come in long-sleeve and long-sleeve v-neck for the colder months of the year. I like to wear layers so I would throw on a cardigan over the top of the t-shirt. These super soft cardigans are my favorites! It comes in 19 different colors and patterns and I got oatmeal heather and light grey heather. I also like that they are long enough so I could wear leggings underneath and feel covered.

Bottoms

If you are looking for full coverage leggings that go over the belly, this brand is so good! I am also a HUGE fan of their joggers. These joggers aren’t necessarily maternity joggers but still wearable well into your pregnancy. In my opinion, the joggers are just as comfortable and durable as any Lulu or Athleta pair. I just received a compliment on them at work yesterday! I have them in the dark russet color.

Dresses

This comfortable dress is slim fitting, breathable (but not see-through) and it smooths you out so it is very flattering. I paired the black dress with a cardigan or this versatile denim shacket. This shacket can be a little on the expensive side but it always seems to be on sale. Plus, it can be worn with anything from dresses to even joggers.

Accessories & Shoes

This adorable gold layered necklace is a great accessory to finish off any look. You can wear one of the necklaces, two or all three! It’s like having three necklaces for the price of one. As far as shoes, these are my absolute favorite shoes that I wear way too often. They are extremely light-weight and comfortable which is what I need when teaching! I also love these supportive loafers. I live in Minnesota so we don’t get to wear sandals to school often but when the weather allows, I love these budget-friendly sandals as well as these cute and comfortable slide sandals!
