Happy Easter all! I love this time of year for so many reasons. I’m extra excited for Easter this year and I want to share some great ideas for a baby easter basket. Books and toys are a great option for babies. Last year, when my son was 10 months old, he received these books and toys in his basket. We’ve actually been reading a couple of these books lately now that Easter and spring is just around the corner!

Here are the toys the Easter bunny (me/mom) got him. He still loves playing with these toys. He loves taking the tops off the eggs and seeing what color is underneath. It has been a great way to help him learn his colors! The Montessori wooden carrot toy is very durable and it’s perfect for little pincer fingers to grab the carrot top and pull the carrot out as well as try to place it back in the block.

Toddler
Now that my son is 21 months old, I’m so excited to build a more exciting Easter experience for him. I don’t allow him to have any candy yet so I will share some of the fun toys and healthier snacks that I have found for him! First off, I needed to buy some plastic eggs. I also love the color of these plastic eggs. This year he can actually “hunt” for eggs in our yard 🙂 Now since he won’t be getting any candy in his eggs, I plan to put a couple of these Beech-Nut melties in them. He loves these melties and mama loves them, too! They only have 5 ingredients so I feel great about giving them as a healthy and tasty treat. In addition to his Easter egg hunt, here are a few items I’ve picked out for his Easter basket and other options you could get for your little one!
